Toothy Grin
Today felt like we had a million things going on. We finally had the windshield replaced in our car. When we bought it, the dealer washed the Sold sign off with an SOS pad and scratched the windshield up, so we had to have it done. It was quite noticeable when we were driving in the sun...Big blurry patch = Not so good. They came and picked up the car, replaced the window and dropped it off later this afternoon. Nice service!
All 3 of us girls had a nice little nap this afternoon! What a treat. It was hardly long enough for me, but it was a sleep. It doesn't happen very often AT ALL. I'd like to make it part of our regular day. Fat chance, lady.
Marin ate her first cookie today. She did really well and ate the whole thing. It's much easier for her to hold an entire cookie than it is to hold a little Cheerio. She loves O's, but she can't seem to grasp that she needs to put them into her mouth when she gets them in her hand. The cookie was no problem. Bigger things go straight to her little teeth, which reminds me, tooth number 4 finally busted through!! Hooray! I could tell she was in a better mood this morning!! I love how cute she looks right now with one big front tooth showing when she smiles! The bottom 2 aren't that noticeable, but that top one is a doozy!
Calli and Marin were playing "Hop Along Frog" (Calli's invention) tonight and Marin jumped on her back (with her Dad's help) causing Calli to fall face first into the floor. I thought perhaps her tooth had gone through her lip again (as it did in Tofino last week), but upon closer inspection (not too hard to see) we saw it was her nose that was bleeding.
So came Calli's first bleeding nose. If she doesn't see the blood, she's not bad, but once she catches a glimpse of blood, it's full-on scream-city! She decided she most certainly needed a Bandaid for her nose, because it was bleeding. We called her Uncle (who is a Dr and who helped her the very first time her teeth went through her lip in Switzerland), to see if putting a Dora Bandaid on her nose was the right method of treatment and lo and behold...it was!!!!! Miraculous recovery!! Those Dr's know a whole lot of everything!!! Nice one Uncle Colin!
