Transportation Modes
We are all awake and ready to go for our inaugural walk...in the Baby Jogger!!!
We picked up our new stroller today and took it out for a spin! We walked up to our friends house. They just moved in 2 days ago and are much closer now! We visited for a bit and checked out their new digs...a gorgeous log home! From there, we took a little trail back to town and made our way home. There was bit of a wind, but it was sunny. The girls obviously enjoyed their new mode of transportation. I would too if I didn't have to walk anywhere.
We'll go out again tomorrow and make the best of the weather which is supposed to stick around for a few days.
All the fresh air and bumpy terrain put both girls to sleep. Calli was disguising things with her cool sunglasses. We often tell her it's ok to "rest her eyes." She'll do it and fall asleep every time. Perhaps I should employ this tactic at nap time!!
I think Marin is close to crawling. She is up and "rocking" and has figured out that she can move her hands and legs and go forward, instead of backwards...but putting these in a continuous motion has still not happened. I don't think it'll be long. She has been rolling around for a number of weeks now and getting into everything, so I can just imagine how crawling is going to be. It will be interesting to say the least!
