Asleep on the job..
We were ready to go out for a walk this afternoon, but vetoed it once we got outside. It is WAY too cold and windy today to be walking. This, of course, was decided when the stroller was out, the kids were dressed and we had our gear on already!! So into the car we got and away we went to town.
Marin fell asleep in the toy aisle at Wal-Mart...apparently she doesn't yet know how important this aisle is!! So we took our time walking through Wal-Mart and the Mall and by the time we got down to Overwaitea we'd had PLENTY of comments on Marin's sleeping position. We were not about to wake her up and change her position to what we thought would be more comfortable. She relaxed in that position for a while before she fell asleep, so it couldn't have been THAT bad! She eventually woke up in Aisle 10 when we were chatting with friends! And she didn't complain of a kink in her neck either!
Must be nice!
Calli wanted to stay all afternoon and continue watching Finding Nemo on the amazing display in the meat/fish aisle!! Strangely enough, she put on her Nemo socks this morning when she was getting dressed! Must have been meant to be!
We told her if she was a good girl for the rest of the day, she could watch the movie once we got home...She's been asking every 15 minutes or so...Who needs notes and reminders when you have a 3 year old?
