CHELSEA!!

Our beautiful friend Chelsea is here visiting from the West. She arrived the same day the girls and I came home from BC and surprised us!! Who could ask for a lovelier surprise??!!



We've been spending our days touring around and showing her the sights, sounds and smells of our new home/province. We attempted to visit downtown Montreal the other day, but it was raining SO hard, we could barely see the highway, so we chose to come home instead. The rain disappeared by the next day and we headed into Old Montreal to walk around and ogle the buildings, and later to the Ports to ogle the massive yachts in the harbour.



The weather was overcast, but our clothes were soaked from the humidity. Welcome to this part of the world! Luckily, we came across a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop and beat the heat by indulging in some fantastic ice cream! We had to eat pretty fast as it melted quickly in the warm weather. Don't they look full and satisfied!!??



While walking, we came across this peculiar traffic jam!!

Calli enjoyed the day and learned about Chamomile, so she spent the rest of the afternoon picking every plant she could find and rubbing it between her fingers to smell the "apple" smell she decided it has!!



This is the view a person can enjoy of the deliciously fresh air from atop Mont Royal!!



We enjoyed a fantastic day together and it was nice for all of us to see something new!!
