OOhhhhhh Stormy!!

This is a bit of video we captured lastnight when this CRAZY raging storm passed over our house. There was no rain for quite a while, just the lightning show, but it soon began raining and turned into a torrential downpour!! The thunder was SO loud, it was like we were wearing earphones listening to it. Calli was FAR too scared to go to bed in the midst of the storm and our cat, Horsie, was completely beside herself in fear, running around trying desperately to find a place to hide.

We were all drawn to stare out the window and observe the storm passing overhead. It's pretty amazing that nature can be so intimidating at times. With these storms and the crazy heat and humidity here, I wouldn't be messing with Ms. Nature right now. She's M-A-D!!
