This is Marin who refused her afternoon nap the day we left for our trip out to BC...only to fall asleep about 5 minutes before we hopped in the car to go to the airport!!
We made the trek out to BC! The kids were really good on the plane and we didn't have any trouble. Marin slept for 3 hours and Calli refused to sleep, even though Adam and I bribed her with any and everything we could think of! We arrived in Vancouver around 8pm, which was 11pm our time, so we knew Calli should be tired... She ended up falling asleep while the plane was taxi-ing in to the gate! Of course!
We spent the night in Vancouver and then took another plane up to WL. The weather was perfect. A clear, blue skied day. We were able to see all the mountains, glaciers and glacial lakes all the way up! It was a perfect welcome for us coming back to BC!!

We planned on hitting the IHOP before flying up to WL, for some breakfast crepes. Calli was really excited and when we were getting ready in the morning, she asked us to hurry up so we could get going to have the crepes! We ordered her breakfast and when it came...She refused to eat it! We have been running into this problem a LOT lately. She has become extremely picky with what she eats and asks for something and then doesn't want it anymore. Not fun.
Here is my little angel on the plane up to WL. She was bored. She wanted something to eat... She was hungry after not having eaten her breakfast...
We have been busy with Granny. We went to Auntie Angies surprise birthday party, where Calli helped blow out the candles on the cake! We had gone to visit Auntie Angie earlier in the day when we were in town shopping, and we hadn't talked to Calli about not ruining the surprise about the party that evening. We were not sure how she would do, but she didn't say a THING!! This is the girl who says "I'm not going to tell you about the card we bought you!! Because it's a surprise!!!" When we got to the party, Auntie Angie revealed that her brother-in-law had ruined the surprise by telling her he wouldn't be able to make it to her party!!! And we worry about the kids....
Granny spoiled the girls by getting them these cookies from Tim Hortons...for breakfast!!! Because the money goes to a good cause, it didn't seem too bad.
