Such Hard Work

James returned this morning to paint the kitchen ceiling and to touch up the other rooms. He really did a great job. We had an interesting conversation this morning about a whole different array of topics. Calli wasn't around, so it was easy to carry on a conversation.

Calli and Granny called from the coffee shop to find out what we wanted for our morning "fix," and arrived shortly thereafter with breakfast and drinks. Yesterday, when we were bribing Calli with coffee from RCC, she kept telling us that we needed to pick up a coffee for James as well. He got a real kick out of that! He was commenting on how he was telling friends about Calli and how articulate she is, and how he LOVED that when he was painting the ceiling in her room, she insisted that he "Be careful not to get any paint on my light" fixture!! He was amazed at this little 3 year old. He also commented on how she never got in the way. How she stood back and watched and chatted with him, whereas most kids will stand right underneath the spot he is painting. Funny the things people notice with their jobs...

We bought boxes for tomorrows BIG project. De-cluttering.

It'll give me a little head start on things, and will be nicer to show the house without all the stuff that isn't necessary at this point, to have around. I was looking at houses on the mls.ca website today. There are a lot of houses available, we just need to know where we should be looking to live. My lovely friend, Jenn, sent us a whole list of mls numbers of houses that she had found that were appropriate and nice for us to move into!! She saved me a ton of work! Thanks Jenn! We actually like a few of them quite a bit. I just have to see where they are in relation to the areas we've been told to move to. Does this mean you are entitled to some sort of commission? Ha Ha!

Oh, Calli, of course, survived her sleep-over in the hotel. She apparently fell asleep within 3 minutes of being in her bed! She slept til 8:15 this morning as well!! Lucky Granny! Granny didn't fare so well as some late night revellers had chosen to crawl out of their hotel windows and lay on towels on the grass outside and have a 3am cigarette break! With their "outside voices." They were told to pack up and shut up by the hotel front desk personnel...but a 3am waking makes for a restless remainder of the mornings sleep session. Better luck tonight...???

Sounds like the house is coming along. I found some great houses on mls in Laval for you, but don't know where you are looking. Lots of nice ones with swim pools for under $300... yippy!!! What area were you told to look in... so many to choose from?!
