September Ends

Adam and I took the girls to a beautiful park in town to take some fall photos. I may end up choosing my favourites and using them as their school photos this year.

The trouble will be choosing my absolute favourite!

Can you tell how much Calli loves having her photo taken?? She has a tooth that is nearly ready to fall out on it's own, but no matter how much she works on it, it isn't going to budge!! She looks a lot like Nanny McPhee at times!

We took these photos only 2 days ago, but as I drove past today, all the leaves have fallen! Lucky we did them when we did!

They were so excited for their photo shoot!

Adam put Marin up in this tree. She was a little nervous and required a fair amount of tickles to get the right smile, but we got it eventually.

Calli told us yesterday that she thinks she would like to be a fashion model when she grows up. She would love to wear the fashions, get dressed up and show them off, (her own words).

Marin still thinks she would like to be a Pop Star. She is going to take some dance lessons and told us that she sings each night in bed. She figures that once she has the dance moves down and if she continues to sing songs, she'll have it made as a pop star.

I remember playing in the aspen leaves each fall as a kid, growing up in Northern BC. I used to love the smell of them and the feel of them. We used to stand beneath them and see who could catch the most falling leaves...

We would make a wish on each one we would catch....

I loved the days when I would catch 20 leaves and dream of how lucky my year might be....

Beautiful pictures, and yes those leaves at Moberly
Lake were great for Colin and you to play and hide in, we all enjoyed that annual adventure!

Leaves are falling fast and furious here too, just too much heat this summer and too distressed to
stay on the tree, once the frost came and the wind.
Sad.

Good Luck choosing one pose! Granny/Mummy
ADORABLE! These are way better than traditional school photos - great idea!
