Introducing....Naughty Marin!!
Have I ever told you about Naughty Marin? Sometimes she sneaks into our house and causes a ruckus without anyone knowing. She is very silent and sneaky when she comes and always leaves a big mess. She is very, very cute when you catch a glimpse of her and has the most wonderful smile you might ever have seen!!!
Here, Naughty Marin decided to empty out her bookcase and drop all of her books onto the floor beside her bed!
It was such hard work that she fell asleep soon afterwards and left the mess for someone else to clean up.
One day, Naughty Marin discovered her Mother's makeup bag and decided to go ahead and make herself more beautiful by accenting her features with concealer, mascara and blush. I think she was slightly remorseful after being caught. I also think if her tiara was a halo, it would be crooked!
After flashing this smile, she was quickly forgiven.
Usually when Naughty Marin is silent, her Mother and Father know that she must be up to no good. Usually...we are right. When we discovered her in this painting fiasco, Naughty Marin commented, "It won't come off!"
On this day, Naughty Marin found a brand new bottle of shampoo near the bathtub and proceeded to squeeze it all over her legs!! But not before pulling her pants down in order to really rub it into the skin!! The shampoo was so thick into the carpet it was impossible for her Mother to get it all out and eventually stained the carpet black!!!
The next day, after Naughty Marin's Mother had replaced the shampoo with a new bottle, she found Naughty Marin emptying it all down the drain of the bathtub!!
On cleaning day, Naughty Marin's Mother discovered the power nozzle of her vacuum was full of Cheerio's!! I suppose it could have been worse. She could have found more shampoo!!
And I think you've seen this picture before. Here, I have managed to capture that lovely grin that she puts on to trick you into thinking things aren't really as bad as they seem!
After helping her parents and her sister, who isn't quite this naughty, plant a garden this Spring, Naughty Marin proceeded to "help" everyone by picking peas!! Unfortunately, she picked the whole pea plant, instead of just the pods. I guess she wasn't listening during her lessons.
Even though she knows she's done something naughty, she only has to flash her beautiful smile and your heart melts and any angry feelings just seem to float away with the wind! I think she must have some sort of fairy dust that she sprinkles to make sure that you don't remember any of the naughty things she's done. Luckily for me, I've outsmarted her and captured some of them on camera, so you can be aware and not get caught off guard if she happens to visit your house!

Having pictures of the culprit in the act though is cute, those big eyes and the "I just couldn't help myself" expression is as good as the smile - the heart melts and Mothers all over the world have their heart strings pulled once again and out of their mouths comes "its okay".....and that little minx goes away happy and thinking of the next fun thing to do!
