Love-ly Breakfast

This morning the girls got up early and decided they'd discreetly make us some breakfast! Marin came up for help with opening the jar of Nutella, but between them, they did everything by themselves!! Calli even brought up a freshly poured glass of water for Adam.



In the picture above, you'll see our breakfast laid out on 2 white plastic cutting boards. On the left is a package of Oreo cookies, 3 pieces of veggie chips and a Lindor gourmet chocolate. On the right is a Nutella sandwich, a package of Oreo cookies and a Graham cracker. Please note the chocolate smudges on Calli's cheek...she must have done some quality control?!



I overheard Marin telling Calli to "Get down Calli!!!" when Calli somehow climbed up onto the counter to get a glass... I also heard Calli loudly whisper "MARIN!! NO chocolate for breakfast." To which Marin replied, "Why?" "Because it's important to eat healthy things first thing in the morning." "Oh," came Marin's reply.

At least the important things are getting through. (Although it wouldn't seem so with the breakfast that was prepared!!) We could most certainly taste the love while we were eating...
