Room Makeover Part Deux

Adam had a week off and finally decided it was Marin's turn to get a room makeover. We had picked out the colour the same time we picked out Calli's room colour. The girls had convinced us that they really wanted the green colour that we'd painted their room in Montreal (when the stager came in and told us we should change it) in their new rooms here. But as with everything, they changed their minds. Shocking, I know.

The brown/beige colour in her room was the same colour as is throughout our entire house. So the change would be a welcome one.

Instead of going for pink or purple, as I thought she might, she surprised us with this beautiful blue colour. It's great because it still seems complimentary to the brown carpet in her room and matches nicely with the girly things she actually has in her room.

Marin had her 3D glow in the dark planet set strung up on her ceiling and at Christmas she was thrilled to receive 3D stars to add to her solar system! Perhaps you can see them hanging from her up there in these photos?

Horsie likes to be involved in everything and loves to help make the beds extra special when you pull the sheets taut, by imprinting the clean sheets with her little paw prints.

I think my baby is going to love her new room. We put a shelf up and put all of her most important things up on it, for safe keeping. I love the blue walls and white furniture. It looks so calming and fresh and sophisticated. Just like my little Marin!!
